YOUTH
Students have studied, studied, studied and met their exams with a head full of knowledge and a heart warm with the challenge of a job well done. Right? Anyone? Well -- at least our students have survived... but BARELY.
As one semester draws to a close we look with anticipation to new class schedules, new teachers, and new study partners. While some things change, others remain the same. Royal City Youth will be meeting Friday, February 3rd 3:30-9:00. We’re Iooking forward to seeing you all there.

Saturday Evening gathering at 7:00 hosted by Doug and Emily Morrison. Focus on Mark 1: 29-34, Luke 4:38-39 and Matthew 8:14-15 “The Healing of peter’s Mother In Law.
Sunday Morning gathering …our guests will be Stan and Sally Bragg The Braggs work on the Saugeen First Nations Reserve, near Owen Sound, Ontario through ministry to children and youth and to their families. Their ministry includes outreach into the homes of these children and youth, 95% of the children who attend weekly children's programs have not previously known Jesus. Included in their ministry are winter youth camps (in relationship with Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener, Ontario), Baby Blessing box distribution, a Youth garden produce project, an archery program, a community bike program and leadership within a Christian church on the reserve. The Braggs have also developed a First Nations team who ministers alongside them. They believe strongly in raising up First Nations Leaders. Curtis Hesselink and music team will lead our music along with Madz Zantingh and Dianne Hillman on audio and Media. Brent Davies and Art Hill will greet you at the door with a warm welcome! Nursery staff Chris teNyenhuis and Jennifer Zantingh will care for the little ones and a team of teachers will care for the Children’s Bible classes ( Ann Roberts, Katelyn Zantingh, Stan Davis, and Katie Davis) Steve Lorenowich will cover the security details. Pastor Jon will be leading our service.

Financial Update….many thanks for your ongoing financial participation in the work God has called us to at Royal City Church and Life Centre. Many friends have shared in this need……still on the ‘verge of blessing and bring of disaster’….but better! J

Men’s Breakfast….Feb 11 with Brian Jobb as our guest speaker and the ladies invited too! (Valentines Day!)
February 18th (third Saturday) at 10 am The Ladies will host a lovely potluck breakfast.
This months event is to be held at the home of Carol Chalmers, who resides at 31 Carrington Place in Guelph.
No sign up required, bring your favourite breakfast item to share with all. We will be looking at the next instalment of "Magnificent Obsession", called "Let Everything Go"
